Find the class that fits your level and age
Ballet is a classical dance genre known for its precision, grace, and strict technique. Defined by a strict vocabulary of movements and positions, ballet follows formalised rules that emphasise control, elegance, and symmetry. Unlike freer dance forms, ballet focuses on refined, disciplined movement that often follows established traditions such as dancing on pointe, pirouettes, and jumps. In class we learn classical technique, correct posture, and grace. Beginners get a safe foundation; more advanced students deepen their technique and work on complex combinations.
Suitable for beginners and advanced students of any age; groups are formed by level and goals (hobby, stage, physical training).
Comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement; ballet slippers or socks; hair tied back; water.
Yes. KUNU Studio offers ballet classes for children (ages 4–7) and for adults of every level. Beginners focus on a safe foundation, correct posture, and the basic positions. Children’s classes last 45 minutes; adult classes last 90 minutes.
For the first class, comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement is enough (fitted trousers, a T-shirt). Ballet slippers are useful but not required — you can start in socks. We recommend tying hair back. Bring water.
Children’s ballet classes run twice a week; adult classes run once a week. Regular attendance helps you progress faster and absorb ballet technique. The exact timetable is on the KUNU Studio website.
Ballet improves posture and body lines, develops mobility and flexibility, and strengthens muscles (especially the core, back, and legs). Musicality, coordination, rhythm, and confidence also grow. It suits both hobby dancers and those preparing for the stage.
Children’s ballet is taught by Eglė Ukanytė (8 years of experience teaching children, residencies at dance academies in Rome and Milan). Adult classes are taught by Jolita Svidraitė (M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, a bachelor’s degree in dance from an institute in Barcelona).
